Lifebuoy has been able to touch the lives of many Sri Lankans over the years. This has been possible through two key campaigns: School Health & Hygiene campaign and the Mobile Showers operation.

The schools programme was aimed at educating students to enhance their health & hygiene habits. This initiative received many accolades from the Ministry of Health, opinion leaders and most importantly from parents – the potential consumers.

The Mobile Showers operation provided clean water for ritual cleansing prior to religious observances in selected pilgrim locations across the country and deepened the brand’s roots with the community.

Soon Lifebuoy and Unilever Sri Lanka will continue its quest to add vitality to the lives of Sri Lankans and will tie up with the WHO and the Ministries of Health and Education to launch a nation-wide ‘Safe Hands’ project. This project will build awareness on the importance of ‘clean germ free hands’ that will lead to healthier lives for millions of Sri Lankans.
