Induction process
Our induction programme will help you quickly get to know the business and the way we work, as well as your role and colleagues.
Getting started
Soon after you join us you will participate in a structured induction programme. Its objective is to help you to become familiar with our company and making the transition into your new role smoother. It will also help you to better understand the company, your team and the surroundings you will be working in.
You will learn our rich history and receive insight into our brands, markets and functions. In addition a premises tour will be conducted and you will be briefed on how to get around the site. You will also have to furnish information for administrative documentation after which you will receive your ID card and computer access. Abriefing will also be conducted on business expense claims and office facilities.
Building your network
Getting to know people and establishing close working relationships is important to help you settle in. During the first few months, you’ll meet colleagues from your immediate area and from different functions across the business.
Ready Support
Finding your feet can be a tedious task. Fortunately our culture is such that you will never be alone. Your colleagues and manager will support you by showing you where everything is around the office and answering any questions you may have about work life. Your manager will also be available to offer advice and guidance as you move through your career. They’ll also help you deal with any challenges that may arise.
Personal development
Once you’re familiar with the company and your role, the next step is to discuss and agree on a personal development plan. This will set out your goals and key performance indicators as well as identify your learning and development requirements.
Roles & goals
As part of your development plan, you’ll be given personal targets and team goals and a time frame within which to achieve them. Over regular meetings with your manager, you’ll evaluate your progress and address any issues.
