The oldest baby care brand in Sri Lanka

56 years and over a million happy babies ago, Pears began its journey in Sri Lanka. With its mildness and high safety standards, it answered every mother’s call for a gentle and pure solution that will protect their baby’s tender skin. And to this day, not a thing has changed.

At Pears, we believe that when the skin is happy, the baby in turn will be happy. And you know what they say about happy babies? They learn more. Because of this, we are committed to pursuing our goal of bringing happiness to all babies in Sri Lanka and further, creating a nation of happy babies.

Complete care

We take pride in our ability to provide the gentlest and most thorough care, through a wide range of products. Our Soaps and Creams are specially formulated with Milk Proteins and Olive Oil to soothe and soften skin.

Our Soap and Cream range falls into 3 categories with differentiating qualities: Herbal, Floral and Pure & Gentle. And our Cologne range has a triad of distinct fragrances that will leave baby feeling fresh and happy throughout the day.

Additionally, we also have our bed time range that is softer than a lullaby and sweeter than a bedtime story. It will help ensure your baby gets a blissful night’s sleep.

Pears Talc is specially sterilized for extra care with a wonderfully fresh fragrance while our Shampoo is enriched with Vitamin B and E to gently cleanse the baby's hair and keep it soft and healthy.

A nation in safe hands

While our products focus on keeping babies happy, we as an entity have the capacity to do more. Which is why in 2002, the Pears Safe Hands project was launched.

Contributing 25 cents from every pack sold, the project began work to improve facilities at maternity, neonatal and pediatric wards in government hospitals, thereby creating a safer and healthier environment for infants, children and pregnant mothers, particularly those from low income families.

Today, 23 projects and 5 lactation management centers later, this initiative has grown and fallen in line with the brand’s firm mission to create a nation of healthy - and therefore happy - babies.
