At the same time, participating in this competition will enable aspiring haircare professionals to enhance their skills, learn modern methods and become better entrepreneurs- there by becoming better geared to begin and sustain their own enterprises.
Sunsilk is proud to be associated with the dreams and aspirations of its consumers and partners - this series of workshops and the mobile salon will be useful not only for aspiring haircare professionals but also for the Sunsilk consumer and we invite everyone to be part of this experience."
Speaking with the partnership haircare expert Sunsilk , Mr Lal Weerasinghe, President of PHABA said," We are happy to be associated with Sunsilk for the second year in its drive to bring proper knowledge on haircare from the urban town centres to the rural masses. We believe that by educating the end consumer and enhancing the knowledge of the hair care professionals, we would be able create more awareness and consciousness of the need for grooming and how one's appearance can provide greater confidence."
This is the second consecutive year that Sunsilk reaches out to consumers all over Sri Lanka with regional workshops held in associations with PHABA - the professional grouping of hairdressers and beauticians in Sri Lanka.
Last year, Sunsilk completed 10 regional workshops , namely the Sunsilk Kess Adahas Workshops, with the objective of educating the end consumer and hair care professionals around the country. Earlier this year, Sunsilk organized gala event called Sunsilk Style International with PHABA. It was the outcome of the 2006 regional workshops. It covered hair, beauty and bridal segments and was a display of how to make you ' stylish' from head to toe
