Unilever Sri Lanka celebrates Annual Sales Conference 2012
Unilever Sri Lanka recently paid high accolade to its sales team at The Water’s Edge Colombo on the 8th February 2013. The event took place amidst much pomp and pageantry and is one of the largest events on the Unilever calendar attended by the entire sales team and senior management.
“Turbo Powering Growth” – the theme for 2013 was cascaded at this forum amidst a high tech futuristic setup by Customer Development Director, Unilever Sri Lanka – Mr. Surith Perera. The significance of this theme is to drive the sales team towards higher growth and further propel the growth agenda of Unilever Sri Lanka to achieve its vision.
Mr. Surith Perera speaking on the occasion said: “2013 will be a year of change with key focus areas of driving volume growth, improving operational excellence, investment in capability development and rapidly increasing distribution reach of high growth categories”.
The highlight of the evening was the award ceremony where high-flyers of each sales channel were recognized for their contribution to the organization over the year gone by. The Best Business Partner award was won by Calton Distributors – Negombo, for consistent performance delivered throughout the year 2012.
