Pears Safe Hands Project

Through our flagship baby care brand Pears, we embarked on a long-standing partnership with the Sri Lanka College of Paediatricians in 2002, investing LKR 60 million to refurbish maternity and paediatric wards in 20 hospitals across the country. These include facilities based in the Puttalam, Dehiaththakandiya, Jaffna and Welikanda hospital maternity wards. To ensure the sustainability of this programme, we also launched the Pears Safe Hands Fund, allocating 25 cents from the sale of every product to the project.
